I combined tone-in-tone small prints with vibrant batiks, representing the color cavalcade of harvest time leaves, fruits and berries. The Flying Geese in the border depict the migrating birds heading south. The quilt was published in two issues of the AQ magazine.
It was free motion quilted with cotton batting. The binding is sewn on the quilt by machine and stitched to the back by hand. Sleeve for hanging is sewn to the back.
Shipping is included in the price.
The quilt is machine washable on gentle cycle in warm water, color catcher recommended for the first few wash.
Tumble dry on low heat for 20 minutes and let it completely dry on a drying rack. You can iron it on the back with cotton setting.
With proper care this quilt will last for decades.
