I find the Southwest style timeless and beautiful. The main block in this quilt is inspired by a woven blanket made by a Native American woman named Myrtle. In honor of her craftsmanship, I named the block Myrtle’s Legacy.
My contemporary interpretation of the design is the Navajo Throw. It uses the same block as the original quilt, but in a larger size, and features a much more colorful palette for a bold, modern look.
The pattern includes:
Yardage requirements
Quilt layout and block dimensions
Cutting and piecing instructions
Sashing and quilt assembly guide
