Meet the designer behind QuiltFOX—and the little Wire Fox Terrier who inspired its name.
My story began in Hungary, where I learned to knit and sew beside my mother. Those early lessons sparked a lifelong love of making things by hand—one that eventually grew into the career I never imagined I’d have.
Years later, life brought me to Switzerland, whose mountains, lakes, and changing seasons continue to inspire many of my quilt designs.
Along the way, I also spent seven Winters in California, surrounded by my husband’s family and a vibrant quilting community that deepened my love for the craft. There I was fortunate to meet a wonderful quilter who became one of my closest lifelong friends.
Every chapter of my life stitched another piece into the story that became QuiltFOX Design.

His name was Bingo.
Bingo wasn’t simply the inspiration behind QuiltFOX—he filled our days with laughter, mischief, and the joyful expectation that something wonderful might be waiting just around the next corner.
